Sermon: Sunday, May 10th

On this Mother’s Day, we are reminded that nurturing the next generation is a sacred calling, not simply a seasonal responsibility; it is a daily investment of love, truth, and faith that shapes eternity. A godly mother does more than meet physical needs—she models Christlike character, teaches biblical truth, and cultivates a heart for God within her children. Through patience in the process, persistence in prayer, and perseverance through challenges, she plants seeds that may not bloom immediately but will, in God’s perfect timing, bear lasting fruit. Nurturing the next generation requires intentional guidance, consistent example, and unwavering trust in the Lord, knowing that every act of faithfulness helps prepare children to walk in truth and stand firm in a world that constantly pulls them in the opposite direction.

Sermon: Sunday, May 17th

When roles are confused in the church, disorder replaces design and frustration takes the place of fruitfulness, because God has clearly established distinct responsibilities for pastors to lead, deacons to serve, and the congregation to function together in unity under Christ. When these roles are misunderstood or overstepped, the church’s effectiveness is weakened; but when each member faithfully fulfills their God-given calling with humility and harmony, the body operates as it was intended—strong, unified, and spiritually impactful.

WHEN JESUS TEACHES PRAYER - Bible Series

Wednesday Evenings @ 7 PM

Prayer is one of the most talked about practices in the Christian life, yet it is often one of the least understood. The disciples walked with Jesus, witnessed His miracles, and heard His teaching, but only once do we find them asking Him to teach them something specific. In Luke 11:1 they said, “Lord, teach us to pray.” They had observed that the power of His life flowed from the place of prayer. They saw Him withdraw to quiet places to commune with the Father, and they recognized that if they were going to live with spiritual power, they too must learn to pray. In this series, we step into that same classroom and listen as the Master Himself teaches us how to approach the throne of grace.

“When Jesus Teaches Prayer” will explore the lessons He gave about prayer—its purpose, its posture, its persistence, and its power. From the model prayer to His parables about asking, seeking, and knocking, Jesus reveals that prayer is not merely reciting words but cultivating a living relationship with the Father. Each lesson will uncover truths that move prayer from routine to relationship and from duty to delight. As we sit at the feet of Christ, we discover that prayer is not just something believers do—it is the lifeline that connects us to the heart and power of God.
