At Eastview we do not measure our success by our seating capacity but rather by our sending capacity. Therefore, we are continually supporting people to serve around our community, our nation and around the world as missionaries, church planters and church staff.
Eastview believes that Jesus taught us to reach the entire world for His Kingdom, therefore we have a heart for missions. We do this by sending people to places on short term mission trips or by supporting missionaries who have a heart to serve in the mission field. Pastor Shane served as a mission pastor for four years and took hundreds of people across the nation to serve in missions and this vision continues within our Eastview family.
A big part of our sending is periodic mission projects around our community, such as God's Plan For Sharing (GPS), Boots On The Ground & other community events. We seek to be the light of Jesus wherever we go.
Pastor Shane served in a local church plant in the early 2000's as a church administrator and youth pastor. In 2009 he took on a church revitalization calling in our community where he served as the senior pastor for seven years with a heart to reach our city for Christ. As a result of this local church plant and church revitalization hundreds have came to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and been baptized. Shane has seen the miracles that God can do, therefore has a heart to help with church plants and revitalization across America. Pastor Shane has served with helping church plants in Washington, DC and New Orleans and has a heart to carry-on this mission opportunity at Eastview.
Our mission is to worship and work together in evangelizing the world, edifying one another, and equipping the saints.
